Hello @MDO and welcome to our o2 community :-)
I am glad to hear you found a bundle of hardware and mobile contract that suits your needs :-)
If only one contract and one mobile phone is confrmed you should recieve only one phone and one SIM card :-)
And even in the unliekly case that you recieve twoi phones or two contracts you always have the possibility to withdraw from a contract that was signed online or by phone withing 14 days :-)
If you import your exiisting phone number from your former provider you will not need a new SIM card, the new phone number will be assigned to the SIM card without any need to change the card :-)
I hope I was able to answer your questions, if there are still questions, don’t hesitate, we will answer as soon as possible :-)
Regards,
Lars
Hello @o2_Lars
Thanks for your answer! It is much appreciated.
Actually, I only ordered a new contract -without a phone-. But I was a bit confused because of quantity shows two in the last e-mail. If I will be able to withdraw even it is two, it is fine! However, would you mind if I kindly request to check the order details if I give you order number with a private message?
For the porting number, basically I will get a new sim card but it will not have any number. I will port my previous number and register that number with the my sim card. Did I understand correct?
Thanks a lot for your answers again!
Have a lovely Sunday!
Dear @MDO ,
I'll be happy to check it out for you, but I'll have to legitimise you first, as your community account is not linked to a data record. I will write you a private message from o2_Support, or have you been able to clarify your request in the meantime?
Kind regards,
Andrea
Dear o2 Users,
I wanted to summarize my experience and final situation in case somebody would be suspicious with same things.
For the quantity problem: It was seeming as 2 Quantity, since O2 sends us two sim cards. However, you can use those two cards with same number across multiple devices.
For number carrying: In a nutshell, we are getting our new sim cards. Once we activate sim cards, we are getting a number from o2. Once we get o2 number, we can sign up for the “Mein O2”. After you log in to the system, number porting is pretty straight forward and you will be directed by relevant Q&As. With only Q&As I even was able to move to eSIM and activate it on my Apple Watch.
And my general comment about O2 is quite positive. But in the city I live, there are some coverage problems, that my phone sometimes goes to Edge I hope it will be better in future.
Good night all!
I forgot to thank you to Andrea here!
Thanks for reaching out. Before writing here, I summarized situation in the private message that I replied to you!
