o2 contract sim


I am new to Germany and here internet cost very much but a friend recommended me o2 so I bought o2 999+gb prepaid sim and now I want an contract sim card with o2 I have German bank account valid passport and city registered too (I am from India came here to study) 

And they rejected it 

I have around 2-3k euros in my account I do not know why they are not allowing to have an contract 

Please do tell me if somebody knew anything about or I am missing something

Unfortunately, we cannot tell you why a rejection has taken place. We cannot see this data for data protection reasons. However, you should have been given an address in the rejection letter that you can contact and request information.

Hi @Gourav kumar,

I can't tell you why your contract was rejected. But it could be because you don't have a credit history yet and therefore your creditworthiness could not be checked. This is common when signing a contract. However, if you have a bank account in Germany, you should be registered with a credit agency like SCHUFA. According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can request information about what data is stored about you there.
