new mobile contract - can i choose start date


Hello, I’ve recently signed up online to a mobile contract.
When is the contract starting and can I choose a specific date for the start? It should be later than the date I’ve signed up online

No, that is not possible. The contract starts when you activate the SIM card or at the latest after 21 days.

In that case the latest activation would be after 21 days, which happens automatically. I hope that the activation was ok in your case?

Hi, I’m still waiting to receive the Sim to proceed with the activation. How can I receive a tracking number ?

@Lalli I would estimate that the SIM card should usually take between 3 - 7 business days to ship.
As far as I know, SIM cards are only shipped by letter, so no tracking numbers existed for this.

When exactly did you order the SIM card?

Thank for your reply - I received the email the order was sent out last Friday. What shall I do if the SIM is not received by today ?

@Lalli if the SIM card was ordered last Friday, I would definitely wait until Tuesday in that case.

Is your billing address the same as your shipping address?

Hi Steffen, no the delivery address is not the billing addres as I’m having the SIM delivered at some friends’ address. They have a sticker with my name on the mail box for this reason
