Hello,

 

I signed a sim-card contract today with a promise of unlimited internet (tarife is called ‘o2 mobile unlimited smart online’), but most of the time I am getting Edge (not even 3G) or no connection at all and I can’t simply connect to internet.  

 

What might be the reason for this? Can you please help me with this issue?

Welcome to the community.
If your SIM card has been activated correctly, you should have network reception.
Have you completely restarted your mobile phone after activating the SIM card? If not, please do this once.

If it still doesn't work properly, please contact us again here. 
Which mobile phone do you use with the SIM card?

I have restarted my phone and also done the updates but still same problem. I am using iphone 13 pro.

 

When I am at home, no internet connection. When I go to a bank in the city center no internet connection. When I am doing shop, no internet connection. When I stay in a hotel in the city center, no internet connection. 

 

What should I do in this case? I will appreciate any help/suggestion.

this seems to be more of a reception problem.

In your screenshot you are connected to the 5G network. Can you test whether reception improves if you turn off 5G in the settings? The 4G network should definitely be better at your address.

have you already checked the Live-Check to see what your network availability looks like at the moment? Have you been able to report a fault or is something already known there?
