I cannot call any number it says “call failed”


I just got my sim card 2 days ago, it is already activated as i can already connect to the internet but when I call anyone it says “Call Failed” all the time, i have restart and re insert my sim card and update my phone. How do I resolve this?

What is the name of your tariff?

"o2 Free ..." or "o2 my Data ..."?
Calls cannot be made with the latter, as it is a pure data tariff.

Unfortunately @Sächsin guessed right, you’re using a data only tariff called “o2 my Data”. :confused:

If it’s not the tariff you wanted you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days. If you have more questions regarding this issue, please write us here.

It looks like i have the “o2 mydata” line, how can I cancel this if i cannot call any number!? What would be the next option to cancel!?

Hello, I’m having the same problem I didn’t know the difference from my o2 free and  o2 my data. can you switch it for me? I want to be able to make calls too. Thank you

If you want a different contract, you can order a new contract an the data contract can be cancelled by you.
