Hi, I am a new o2 customer and I am trying to use LTE internet for my work. I have a very good signal at home and doing the speed tests it shows very good results that should be enough for having video call meetings. (80mbps download and 45mbps upload ping 22ms) I am in Berlin 13088

Unfortunately the the video keep breaking and it is very hard to have normal meeting conversations.

Is this a temporary problem or it’s a limitation in the o2 network?

Hi Ricardo. I am having the same issue in Berlin 10437. I believe the issue (for me at least) is the consistency of the ping. On the regular speedtest, it is 30-40 ms (not great anyway), but over a period of 1 minute is spikes to over 400 ms 7-8 times. Making any video call completely useless.

I have no idea how to resolve this yet and the O2 shop simply doesn’t understand or care. They just keep talking about download speeds and Netflix. Hopefully we can figure this out or O2 solves it.

Hi @Riccardo Canalicchio

welcome to our English Community.

I regret that you are not happy with the video-conferencing experience.

Which device do you use: mobile phone, tablet, homespot?

Which software do you use for video-conferencing?

Did you already make a speedtest? You can use our “Mein o2”-App for this: Mein o2-App

I look forward to your reply.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
