I have moved to different country in march and I am yet to cancel my German residency but my visa has already expired.
Becuase of this i would like to suspend my account for time being and would like to continue when I come back to germany.

It is possible to suspend a mobile contract for a limited period of time. The contract duration will be extended by the time you want to suspend the contract. Any existing contract termination will become invalid as a result of the contract suspension order.
It is not possible to suspend a contract for data contracts and Internet & fixed network.
- The contract has a minimum term of 24 months and has been in place for at least 6 months.
- The duration of the suspension is a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 months within the minimum contract period.
- A valid German bank account exists and we have been granted a direct debit authorization for it.
- All invoices have been paid.
- The decommissioning must be requested at least 2 weeks before the desired start date.
We require official proof of the contract holder's temporary stay abroad during the entire period of the contract decommissioning (certificate of study, employment contract, confirmation from the employer, marching orders in the case of soldiers, a medical certificate or certificate from the hospital in the case of a stay at a health resort).
You can easily apply for a contract suspension via the My O2 app. To do so, log in, select Tariff & Options and then "Contract services" at the top. Then select the item "Contract cancellation" to send the proofs and your request.
