I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the status of my phone contract for the Samsung S22 Ultra, which I purchased in November 2022.

Recently, I received a phone call informing me that my contract is scheduled to end on November 17, 2023. As I will be relocating to India, I do not intend to extend or renew the contract beyond this date. During the call, I was provided with a link to manage the cancellation, but I would appreciate your confirmation as to whether my sim contract will indeed be terminated on the specified date.

Please advise if any further steps are required from my side to ensure the cancellation process is completed smoothly.

welcome to our o2 Community 🙂

Have you registered your number for a customer account in Mein o2? There you can see the status of your contract, whether it is cancelled or not.

Also if cancelled, you will receive a confirmation, usually by e-mail 16 days after the cancellation has been entered into our system 🙂

I had already registered my number for a costumer account. Can you just let me know how can I see the status and where I can see as I am not able to find the status of my contract.

up to now we haven’t received your cancellation.

The easiest way to cancel is our online cancellation form: Ihr Kündigungswunsch | o2 (o2online.de)

It is in German only, but easy to understand I hope.

Your contract can be terminated at any time with one month's notice.
