Getting a DSL speed of 12Mbps instead of 50Mbps

Hello everyone,

Have a question regarding my DSL speed. I am currently using O2 Home-M DSL. Although my tariff supports up to 50Mbps I am only getting a download speed of 12Mbps.  I do have a O2 HomeBox 6741 modem. I also checked the DSL availability from Telekom it can offer speeds up to 1000MBit. So why am I getting low speeds ? Can someone help ?

@bxa4647 Speed test over LAN or Wifi? What offer o2 for your adress?
