Hello,

 

I am experiencing a very unstable service since the upgrade of my contract.

My internet connection keeps on resetting every 10-15 minutes, which makes it quite unusable for Home Office purposes, or as a service at all.

 

I have a FritzBox 7490 on the latest FW, the Line Settings are set for max. stability, all other AVM recommendations were also followed, unfortunately that did not help.

 

In the Event Log of my FritzBox i can see the following 2 messages every time the DSL sync is dropped:

  • PPPoE error: Timeout
  • Internet connection cleared.

As previously mentioned the above happens in 10-15 minutes intervals.

Bei Dir liegt eine Störung vor, die hier nicht gelöst werden kann. Tel:08005251378 Kostenfrei. Rufe die Störungshotline bitte möglichst von deinem Mobiltelefon aus an, da zur Problembehebung u. U. der Router neu gestartet werden muss und dadurch Anrufe vom Festnetz unterbrochen werden.

I am sorry to hear there are issues with your DSL connection. If something like that happens I recommend to have a look at our o2 my Service app on your smartphone, it may detect possible reasons and give some tipps to improve the stability. We also have an online help page with tipps and tricks if there are issues with the DSL connection.

If neither of this helps I recommend to contact our technical DSL departement, you will find the contact number on the linked page. :-)
