Does O2 offer static IP-addresses to private customers?


I need a static IP-address ie one which doesn’t change every 24-hours. Some people are saying this is impossible, others are saying that O2 (Germany) has recently change its policy. What is impossible is to get ANY meaningful response from phone-based O2 customer service -- I’ve been trying all morning.

As our other users already mentioned, a static IP-adress is not possible for your contract.

I am very sorry. 

Did you maybe found an alternative?

Are you also the user @Chrislan45 ?

Different Router (DSL FritziBox 7590), same problem.

Two questions:

  1. Will the static-IP-address option work with this router?
  2. How do I get a static-IP-address?

 regarding 2: For private contracts NOT possible.

Moin,

A Fix IP is only possible with business contract. For private customer a fix ip is not available.

I was ‘forced’ to open the second account as I couldn’t access the first one. This issue has now been resolved (no thanks to 02) so I don’t really need either.
