Hi there,

My DSL internet connection stopped working a few hours ago. I've tried to reboot my router, I've tried to check the connection cable, but nothing helps. So, at the moment "Telefon" LED on the router is off, and "Internet" LED blinks red. How can I fix it?
Are you talking about an o2 Homebox? If the Internet LED is not off, the DSL LED should be permanently green. This in turn means that there is a DSL connection.

According to the manual, a red blinking Internet-LED indicates wrong access data. This could happen if there was a change in connection or contract. In this case you should perform a factory reset with your o2 Homebox (press reset button for a least 10 seconds and enter the 10-digit PIN, see manual).

Otherwise, it is a network-side problem. In this case the factory reset will not help. Please call the service hotline at 08005251378 when you are at the router.

It could be also help full to use the app bevor!

The app collects additional data and sends it to O2!
Ok, now it's even worse. Router says I have to enter my Zugangs-PIN which I have done many times from several different types of internet browsers. I am entering the correct PIN but it keeps rejecting it. Entering Zugangs-PIN doesn't work and it says the box is locked. How do I unlock the O2Box as it seems the phone line is communicating properly (DSL=Green, Info=Red, Internet=Off). Technical support says that I enter correct PIN too, as far as I can understand Google Translate. Great start with O2 DSL, what can I say.
It takes to release via the PIN a connection to O2 / Internet. My fear is that you may have interconnected.

I hope some one from @o2_DSL can take a look.

Is the ticket still open from O2 service? Are there still actions open from O2?
If you use an O2 Homebox 6641/6441/6741 that you rented with your DSL contract directly from o2 and your 10digit PIN is not accepted, there is an network-side problem. Please call the service hotline already mentioned.
@blablup that hat er ja schon allready gemacht. I found it ja auch funny das der O2 Suff member festgestellt hat das die PIN OK ist. Aber die box die pin rejected. That ist ja warum I gefragt habe whether das tickt noch open is.

Schon strange das man feststellt das the PIN nicht geht und dann wieder in idle mode geht, or?
@schluej I've contacted with support via chat (current status: Wir haben Ihre Störungsmeldung erhalten und ein Ticket erstellt. Ihr Ticket wurde zur technischen Überprüfung übergeben), and now I'm waiting for any reaction from them.

@blablup Unfortunately, I can not call them since any communication (including hotline) using voice is not an option for me...
Hello @irina69,

I had a look into this. As far as I can see you already contacted our customer service and a trouble ticket was opened for you. Your DSL connection is up and running again, the cause fpr this was found and corrected.

Lars
