Converting O2 from Prepaid to Postpaid with same sim and number.

I have a o2 prepaid sim for now about 4 years and would like it to convert to a postpaid contact with the same sim and number. Is it possible? If yes, i would be grateful if you could tell the procedure for the same.

I would like to opt for O2 Mobile Unlimited Basic Flex Partnerkarte

yes, that is possible. First you complete the partner card. If it is activated, you can request the porting of your phone number in My o2. When you change, you indicate *immediately*. The phone number will then be transferred within the next 10 days and the prepaid card is automatically deactivated. If there is still credit available, it will be transferred to the contract account.

One more question, during this duration my sim will remain activated?

Hello @Gujaria,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

As Bumer already explained everything around the porting of your number, there is one thing that I’d like to point out. As you are looking to order a Partnerkarte, the Kombi-Vorteil discount only works if there is another contract that already exists to provide this discount.

Kind regards, Sven
