O2 prepaid sim card activated but not working afterwards

I’ve ordered prepaid SIM card and it reached to me day before yesterday via post. Then yesterday I’ve activated my sim card via POST IDENT. I saw it is activated after restarting my phone. Got few messages. One of them were I need to recharge within 48 hours. But after few hours I can see there is no signal in my phone. I am using dual sim card phone. my another sim card has network signal perfectly. Also I’ve removed my old sim card, switched sim slot, restarted phone several times, but my moble phone does not show any sim card even inserted in it.

What should I do now? Is it a problem with recharge? Is it possible to recharge without sim card signal?

I’ve O2 DSL connection. But I cannot see any option to add my prepaid card number to my O2 account. So I went to register my sim card, but it is sending SMS code, which I am unable to receive because sim card is dead.
