Not at all. The contract begins with the SIM activation. The SIM will activate automatically after 21 days at the latest.

your contract starts once the SIM card is activated. You can either start this process yourself or wait, in that case the SIM will be activated automatically after a period of 21 days.

thanks for your info, and it´s clear. 

I have another 2 questions:

1. i have applied Rufmitnahme when placing the order, but from the documents i received, it seems no the relative information. Do i need to re-apply again? or O2 will give me the confirmation?
2. If the current phone number is not transferred when i activate the SIM card, do i have a temporary number when activating? Or when can I have the phone number transferred successfully?

Yes, you have a temporary number. You register this for „My O₂“ and order the number portability there again.

Thanks for your info. What I still care about is portability of phone numbers (Rufmitnahme). Do i have confirmation of Rufmitnahme from O2?

Or do i need to re-apply it?

when i placed order with O2, I have selected Rufnummermitnahme by the old contract end, and got SMS to confirm it.

By now my old contract with T-Mobile is ended, and I have activate my O2 SIM card, but I got a new number.

How can I get the oroginal phone number migrated to my new SIM?

When I place contract with O2 on 17.10.2023, I have applied for phone number transition from T-Mobile to O2 at the end of the contract - 02.11.2023, and I got SMS for confirmation.

after activation of O2´s SIM card, I tried again from My O2 in Vertrag Verwalten page.

But so far, I have no further information for phone number transition.
