I topped up my second month O2 prepaid at the store. I paid 14,99 for 6,5GB. But my email shows that I paid 7,49!
I am totally confused as an English speaker what is this Guthaben?
Why is the charge shown as 7,49, when I paid 14,99?
Why will I have credit (for what?) Because the store guy said data is not carried forward and also the calls and sms are unlimited within this 14,99. Somebody please explain..

I just checked that for you. And in your prepaid account, I see a €15.00 top-up and then a pack booking for the o2 My Prepaid M pack for €7.49. Your remaining amount is still the rest that is available to you.

thank you. So the 7,49 is an extra free credit that has been offered to me? Should I use this amount in this month cycle or will it be caried forward to the next months as well (just in case I don’t use this 7,49) in this month cycle.

Of course, I cannot reconstruct the course of the conversation, but it is possible that something was misunderstood in the conversation. At o2 in the shop, the smallest amount you can deposit is 15 €. If you want to top up less (which is also possible), I can recommend you to top up by bank transfer. Smaller amounts are also possible.
Your remaining credit on your card remains with you and is taken into the next month as normal 😊
