My customer number is XXXXXXXXXX.
I took this post paid simcard contract and a mobile phone in the O2
shop in Erlangen Arcaden on 22, November, 2022. Before taking the
contract I was not aware of the rules and regulations as I am new to
Germany. Especially the shop owner who did not explain to me any terms
and conditions before signing the contract. Or he did not give
sufficient time to go through the contract before signing. He also did
not specify that I cannot cancel the contract after I sign it. I was
clueless about all these. I cannot understand or speak German as well.
I recognized the bills are huge and decided to cancel the contract the
very next day on 23, November, 2022. But the shop owner assured he
will cancel the mobile phone but not the contract. He was also
impolite about this.
So I called the customer care of O2 and they assured me that the
Nuremberg headquarters will cancel the contract, understanding my
situation. But the Nuremberg headquarters have replied they cannot
cancel it because I have signed it.
Team please understand I have been telling this continuously, I am new
to Germany, I am still a student and I cannot afford such huge bills
now, so please cancel the contract. I was not aware of the terms and
conditions. If I knew about the terms and conditions, I would have not
taken this contract in the first place. I have been under mental
stress for the past few days because of this and regretting being a
customer of O2.
Also I will send back the simcard to Nuremberg Headquarters. I am not using it at all.
I cannot stress it anymore. Please cancel the contract immediately.
