Prepaid tariff switch

Hi all

I have been on My Prepaid M for a while - costing €15 a month for 6.5GB.
I just purchased a new tariff, almost the same name - Prepaid M ( no “My” ) for €17.99 a month for 18GB data.

2 questions:

1 - Will my old tariff cancel by itself? Or do I need to notify someone?

2 - Is the new tariff I have chosen permanently 17.99 a month, or will that increase after a short period?

  • only one tariff can been active and you must see this in your mein o2 service app
  • The new tariff my prepaid M will cost all the time 17,99 Euro. Only be careful that every time enough money is on your card or you changed the tariff. If this happens you loose the 18GB and a new prepaid have only 12GB.

Actually one more question - do I need to change my SEPA setup? I am currently using the “Optionsgebuhren bei nicht ausreichendem Guthaben” option.

I received a message today saying my direct debit will be taken out of my account on 17/7/23. However I have only just paid for this new tariff, so why is still going ahead and taking more money?

It all worked fine in the end, its the information the system kept sending me that caused my confusion, very unclear.
