However, my new service provider sent me the following email.
“Sie möchten Ihre Mobilfunk-Nummer 49176xxxxx4 von Ihrem bisherigen Anbieter zu otelo übernehmen. Ihr bisheriger Anbieter hat auf unsere Anfrage geantwortet: fehlende Freigabe zur Rufnummernportierung”
I have now been paying for two phone plans for two months. Please will you release my number for porting, and inform me when you have done so?
When I recieve confirmation from you, I will ask my new provider to request the porting. I have added yet more money to my o2 account, so there is enough for the porting fee.
Your website states that “porting declaration (release of the phone number) is required. You can simply order this via the Mein O2 app or in Mein O2.” I have not been able to find this option within Mein o2. Perhaps you can link it here, so that I don’t have to ask in o2 Community each time the porting fails?
