Dear o2 Support,
I would like to activate the opt-in for my o2 prepaid card so that I can take my phone number with me to another provider.
I could not find the function either under the My o2 app.

nice to hear from you. You can release the number porting directly in My o2.
In the My o2 app you can find this under:
"Tariff & Options" - "Number portability" - "Release number now".
