Number porting to O2


Hello team,

I'm transferring my number to O2 from Ortel Mobile. I've already released my number from Ortel's side and submitted the portability order to O2. 

I've not received any SMS or email from O2 to confirm the order, and I was wondering if that's normal? And how long does it take to complete the process? Ive read in some places saying 1 business day, and in order places 8 business days. So I'm a little confused.

did you import your number to o2 via Mein o2 or the Mein o2 app?

It can in fact take up to 8 business days to import your number, has it worked in the meantime?


Hi @Hansestädter , yes I was contacted via SMS and was informed that my number will be ported on 11. May. Thank you for your answer and assistance!
