Number portability from O2 to other network

Hello,

I would like to transfer my current mobile number from o2 prepaid to another network for my new contract. Can you please release my number 0176******65 for porting immediately? I have already kept 30 euros in my prepaid balance for the transfer fee.

I have received the porting declaration and have released your number for porting. You can now request the order from your new provider.
The amount of € 6.82 must be available on your card for the number porting.

Hello o2 team.

 

I'm in the process of moving to another company. However, to maintain my number they request the PAC code which is necessary to enter it in their app. Could this be done by you online?

@Jo.gutisilva You can make it now by yourself over the latest version from mein o2 service app. Menü/Tarif & Optionen.

Than „Rufnummermitnahme“ (port number to other provider)

You must have 6,82 Euro on you o2 prepaid card.

thank you @Joe Doe! one last question. I already did that and received a message stating that the valid period to transfer. However, I’m still missing the PAC code. Do you know if that is sent to me after a few days or something?

@Jo.gutisilva you don’t get a PAC code here in Germany. You must set the opt-in option (you have done it over the app already) and than your new provider ask for the number at o2. The owner of the number must have the same name at the new provider.

@Joe Doe but if I request it will they send it to me? I’m switching to a provider from outside of Germany and seems like I need to ask for the PAC.

@Jo.gutisilva transfer a German o2 mobile number to foreign provider is not possible.

@Uweeew You can do this by yourself over the mein o2 service app. Please have minimum 6,82 Euro balance on your card.

@Link_the_Sync No charges anymore for this here in Germany. Please release your number over the mein o2 app by yourself. (See screenshot above)

Hello ,

Thank you for the reply .  Since I don’t have the O2 and for some reasons I’m not to download the Mein O2 on my smart phone. Is there any other way to release the mobile number porting ?

My new provider has requested me to contact you to give permission for early phone number portability ("opt-in"). Please let me know of any formalities I need to keep in mind.
