The amount of € 6.82 must be available on your card for the number porting.

Hello o2 team.

I'm in the process of moving to another company. However, to maintain my number they request the PAC code which is necessary to enter it in their app. Could this be done by you online?

@Jo.gutisilva You can make it now by yourself over the latest version from mein o2 service app. Menü/Tarif & Optionen.

Than „Rufnummermitnahme“ (port number to other provider)

You must have 6,82 Euro on you o2 prepaid card.

thank you @Joe Doe! one last question. I already did that and received a message stating that the valid period to transfer. However, I’m still missing the PAC code. Do you know if that is sent to me after a few days or something? 

@Jo.gutisilva you don’t get a PAC code here in Germany. You must set the opt-in option (you have done it over the app already) and than your new provider ask for the number at o2. The owner of the number must have the same name at the new provider.

@Joe Doe but if I request it will they send it to me? I’m switching to a provider from outside of Germany and seems like I need to ask for the PAC.

@Jo.gutisilva transfer a German o2 mobile number to foreign provider is not possible.

You can release this yourself in the blue o2 app. Otherwise the chat does it.
