Please keep in mind to have a credt balance of ~30€ on your prepaid sim card.

Thanks a lot for the information Jessica. I need one more help on the same thread. I have 9€ extra credit after the portability. How would I claim the amount?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Jessica,

I have the same problem. My O2 prepaid number is not released for the number portability.

Hi Jessica,

Unfortunately I am not able to create a new question of my own. It is throwing an error and hence posted my problem here. Please help at the earliest.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Dhinesh,

I am sorry for my late response, I haven't been working for quite a long time now.

To get your credit balance which is left on your sim card you need to fill out the following form and send it to:

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG

O2 Prepaid-Kundenbetreuung

90345 Nürnberg

https://static2.o9.de/blob/11417674/v=11/Binary/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung.pdf

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️

Hello sas4591,

that is no problem at all.

Just for information: you can also contact the o2 Prepaid Hotline if it's an urgent concern.

I have now released your number for portability! ☺️

Same for you: if you want to get the credit balance which is left after that procedure you need to fill out the form and send it to the customer support: https://static2.o9.de/blob/11417674/v=11/Binary/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung.pdf

The cost for the porting is 24,95€, so make sure to have enough balance available on your sim card.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hello Jessica,

I kind of have the same problem. I want to have my number ported from o2 to other network  provider. My contract with o2 will cancel on 30-June-2018. I have already requested for cancellation. Other network provider says I need to talk to you in this regard. You got to something for the porting.

Regard,

Pradeep Yadav

Hello Pradeep,

as I see you already got the information that you needed. ☺️

Your number is releasedand the porting is already in process!

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Yes, I got the information. I wrote here before I got the info. Anyways, thanks

Pradeep

Hi,

On related subject to this topic: what do I need to do to realease and transfer my telephone number to a different provider (prepaid sim)?

Hello Multiverse,

as I can see your number is already enabled since the 5th of April. Now you just need to charge your prepaid card, so that you have enough credit balance for porting the number.

Other information I already wrote before:

Same for you: if you want to get the credit balance which is left after that procedure you need to fill out the form and send it to the customer support: https:///external-link.jspa?url=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic2.o9.de%2Fblob%2F11417674%2Fv%3D11%2FBinary%2Fprepaid-guthabenauszahlung.pdf

Do you any other question left?

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️

Hi Jessica,

I recently got an O2  postpaid number on contract. However I have an older O2 prepaid number that I would like to retain. The outlet from where i bought the newer postpaid number asked me to visit them to get this done but I havent had the time. Can this be done online? To be clear I would like to retain my older O2 prepaid number.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello @matt2307,

if you made a whole new contract in an o2 shop you have no right of withdrawal.

If you made it online or on the hotline instead you have a right of withdrawal of 2 weeks.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hello Jessica

Just a quick confirmation, is the balance for transfer of O2 Prepaid to another Network Provider is 24,95 EUR still or is there any update.

My wife has O2-prepaid since 3 years, is there anything else needed for porting out the number or maintaining the balance of 24,95 is enough.

Regards

Abhishek
Hi @eabhi,

the amount needed on a prepaid sim card for exporting the number is still 24,95 EUR.

Just make sure that the customer data (name, address, date of birth etc.) at your new provider matches your customer data at o2 exactly, otherwise the export will not take place.

Best regards,

Jan.
Dear Team, I would like to transfer my o2 Loop number to another company. How could this be done? Thank you in advance
Hi @Korinak,

thanks for your request. As I see you have already set an opt-in of your number.

Therefore, please contact now your new provider.

The porting will be charged with 24,95 €. Therefore, make sure that you have this amount on your card.

After the porting, you can fill out this document: https://static2.o9.de/resource/blob/70982/01c6e4a0d79666f33a3a2220fd39f0cc/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung-download-data.pdf

Then you will get back the credit on your personal bank account.

I hope I could help you with this information.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
Thank you very much for the reply @o2_Tobias! Another colleague of yours is helping me also. I did not know that the amount can be returned to me so I will fill that. The only problem I have is that my last name is wrong and for some reason it is locked and I cannot change it. Could you help me at this?
Hi @Korinak,

thanks for the information.

It is always not a good idea to open several threads with the same subject.

Therefore, please follow the communication with @o2_Jan in this message: https://hilfe.o2online.de/sim-karte-multicard-datenkarten-17/transfer-o2-number-488203

My colleague will help you out with all requests concerning your issue.

I will now also close this subject here.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
