Hello,

I am a current O2 customer with an established number. I recently ordered a new phone with a different Tarif. It came with a new sim as expected. However, am I able to port over my previous phone number somehow to this new sim/contract? I attempted to do it when I ordered the phone but it was not an option.

Yes, its possible to port your phone number. The regarding online form itself is written in german, but we have an english FAQ called Number porting which explains the process.
