Invoice amount x2 because of data used in Switzerland (but that's wrong)

Hello,

I travelled in Switzerland which is not included in my contract, which is why I was deactivating my roaming when in Switzerland and reactivated it as soon as I was in Austria / France.

How come I paid for that month 89 € instead of the usual 45€?
Could O2 actually provide me with a proof of where I was using my data ? I'm totally sure that I never used in in Switzerland. Only at the border like Feldkrich in Austria.

Thanks.

Julien

Hey @Galven,

please tell us next time, when you want to deactivate your mobile data for the foreign countries. It is safer than to deactivate it on your mobilephone. There is everytime the possibility that your phone use mobile data in the background.

So I checkt it and the Lünnersee is near by the swiss border. So I think your phone dial into the swiss network.

Best regards, Tatjana

At the border? If a Swiss network had a stronger signal it is very possible that you were using this Swiss network and not an Austrian one. In border areas it is very important to choose manual network selection in the phone settings.

Check the invoice. Do the days on which you were charged match the days you were near the border?

Thanks for your reply.

This is the details I have. I agree with 05.08 and 07.08, I really was inside Switzerland.
As for the rest:
08.08.19: I was in Lichtenstein + Feldkirch + hiking around Lünersee in Austria. I must have activated internet as soon as I received the SMS saying like "Lichtenstein [or Austria] is included in your contract, and you'll pay as much as you pay in Germany".
09.08.19: Again hiking around Lünersee, really along the border in the mountains
01.09.19: I don't even know why there's something at that date, I either was in Munich or Austria, quite far from Switzerland.

I just do it myself, by deactivating "Mobile data" completely on the upper ribbon of my phone

And I will not get a refund for those 40€ even though I was not in Switzerland?
