internet is VERY SLOW…

Hi Team,

I am a Pre paid user since 2021.

During last few weeks , the internet speed has dropped to 0,1kb/s - 1,5mb/s which is completely absurd. Upload speeds are reaching in the best case speeds of 7-8Mbps. This degraded connects does not even allow me to have a video conference! Even disconnecting all devices that are connected to the home spot is not enough. 

What is the solution for this? Will the connection improve at any moment?

Perhaps it was a display error? How is the display in your consumption overview now?

Have you already checked the live check to see if a malfunction at your location might apply to the observed restrictions? More information about that you can find here:

Hallo,

I have same problem. My internet is very slow and bad ( Grow o2 Vertrag) around 1 mbs while it supposed to be 300mbs !!!!

I am very frustrated. 

Could someone help?

thanks for the Screenshots! Does this error persist when you’re in a different part of your city? If so, are these speeds shown the maximum you’re receiving? I’ve reset your data volume, please try if you’re now reaching a higher bandwith. If that didn’t work, please let us know here.

Yes the speed is now better not 300mbps but ( 15 mbps ) screenshot 👇.

But i didn't know what happened to my data volume!!

I don't know now how much do i have now and when would the be recycled. 

I also didn't get what the poped message in top my o2 app mean!

Could you please help by explaining?

Hi @Hi40 ,

 

the message on top is the result of me reseting the data volum. The idea was to check if any barring is in place.

It says:

“Changes successful. You can use your full data volume again for the rest of this period.”

Your next data volume period starts tomorrow, you’ll then be back to 40 GB available.

Does the speed still hold up in different places? Would you mind telling us in which city you’ve experienced those speeds?

thanks a lot for clarifying. So regarding the speed now it still around (19 till 23 ) mbps but it is enough for me. 

Right now i am in a city in north it called Heide ( Schleswig Holstein state) visiting my brother. I was yesterday in Hamburg also and checked the internet it was cool.

Thats all frm my side and i wish you a very nice sommer with 9€ ticket 🙋
