Hello.

I have two sim contracts with O2 with unlimited data and call.

Now I moved to a new home and do not need unlimited data anymore. I tried Mein O2 dashboard but as my German in not good enough I didn't understand if finally I can cancel my contract with any fees or not?

Or even maybe I can pay something to change my tariff early, can I?

Hello @ivir3zam ,

an early cancellation is not possible for mobile contracts I´m afraid.

An early change of the tariff should be available after 12 months, we´d need to check every contract for the available possibilities after the first year has past.

Sorry, that I can´t offer you a solution right now!

Viele Grüße,

Kurt

Dear Tobias,

would it be so kind of you to tell us what is the case for DSL contract? How can we end it as soon as possible please?

Dankeschön erstmal!

LG

Dear @Feniabel ,

a DSL contract usually also has a term of 24 months. If the first 24 months are exceeded and it is not actively renewed for another 24 months, it will be automatically renewed for 12 months, again and again.
It can be cancelled at least three months before the end date, you can see this on your invoice, the latest cancellation date is listed on the last page.
You can only get out of the contract earlier if you:
- move abroad
- move to an area where we do not offer DSL
- you move in with someone who already has a DSL contract with us

Does this help you?

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hello

I want to cancel my O2 contract. I m in big trouble so please tell me how can I end this contract as soon as possible.

Thank you

Hello @Khushi,

welcome to our o2 community :blue_heart:

What exactly do you mean by big problems?
A contract with a minimum term can only be terminated at the end of the contract. So if you cancel your contract on time (it must be received by o2 at least 3 months before the end of the contract), your contract will end at the end of your contract period.

An exception is the extraordinary termination due to a move abroad. If your permanent place of residence has been moved abroad, you can apply for early termination. Is this the case for you?

Kind regards
Jessica :nerd:
