Can’t confirm email address

Hello,

I’m getting these emails to confirm my email address but each time I try to do that I get a technical error. What could be the issue? Kindly see attachments.

At the moment, we have some challenges with the confirmation of e-mail-addresses. I regret the inconveniences. 

 

I have just sent a verfication-e-mail to your e-mail-address. Please check your e-mail-inbox and confirm the link. Does that work this time?

Hi @o2_Manga kindly send me a private message, I would like to have some things sorted out. I just activated my new sim card/contract, but the system didn't allow me to use my email address here to register for MeinO2, as it said it is already in use. I had to use a new email address to do that. My email here is somehow not linked to my contract. I would like to have this linked to the contract and the new one I used in activating the contract deleted.

for “Mein o2” please register with your mobile number. Just go to o2.de/registrieren and click on “Ich bin Mobilfunkkunde”. An email adress as a username is not accepted there. Also, you have probably already used it for your login here in the community.

I already went through the process of activating my SIM card and was asked to add an email address, which I tried to do with the email address I have here. Like I said, that was not possible, so I ended up using another email address. I want to see my contract and tariff when I login with this email address. At the moment that’s not the case. I can only see my tariff when I login in to o2 with the other email address. Is it possible to switch?

Hi @obiara, you can change the E-Mailaddress at Meino2. Please login, click the menu and go to “persönliche Daten”. There you can change the E-Mail.

I know that. I would like to have my contract, which is now showing under a different email account under this email account.

do you need a copy of your contract for your mobile tariff or for the monthly installment of your phone?

Is that the issue or do you need access to your customer account in general?

What I meant was, I cannot see my contract when I login with my email address. The simple reason is that when I activated my SIM card online I was asked for an email address where I could receive my bills. I tried to use the email address I have here but it wouldn’t allow me, so I ended up adding a different email address. I ordered for my contract with this email address so O2 communicates via this email address. However, I need to login via another email address (which I used when activating my SIM card) in order to see the status of my contract. My question is,

1. is there a way you can bring those two email addresses together? 

2. If that isn’t possible, can you free this email address from O2 (as in, delete this email address entirely from O2 - not just the community, so that I can add it on MeinO2?

I am afraid neither  1. nor 2. is possible.

If you want to check the contact details please use your mobilenummer to log-in.

It’s a shame.

Is this email address linked to any contract? If it isn’t, then I kindly ask that you delete it, together with my community account. I remember I registered this before any contract and had it registered as a community account.

Hello,

 

the login for contracts of a mobile number works by entering the mobile number together with a password, not by using the email address as login. You are already registered with your mobile phone number for “Mein o2” and should therefore be able to log in to your account by entering this number together with your password.
I’ll delete this account name for the community now.

Hello.. i have problem with confirmation of the account. Every time I try to confirm its telling`ihr bestätigungscode ist abgelaufen. Überprüfen sie ihre angane oder Gorden sie code an` . Please help me out in this and please send me a private e-mail.

Also can’t verify my email. I click on the email, it says it has been verified, but a red banner still appears in my o2 area saying that I need to verify the email 🤷‍♂️
