Hi all,

I received an email to my email address on 8/6/20, to my surprise stating that I had a invoice for the amount of €29,55.

On finding this, I immediately called the customer service hotline, as from the 15/5/20, I had already cancelled my only known contract with you under the number 017621801***.

After speaking to the really helpful colleague on the phone, they told me there was also another open contract in my name that had been taking out on 2/7/16. They also explained that the cost this month was the left over bill from last month and a fee to take my number, which was fine. But, I still had an open contract for €14.99, under the phone number 017621801*** (which is a totally different number).

Your colleague explained to me this was an o2 blue data sim, which I had no idea about. I had only moved to Germany a week before in 2016 when I first took out my contract under the number 017621801***. They were in agreeance with me that this mad no sense to have this, when I had a perfectly good contract.I have had no idea about this, have never used this sim and the fact that I have firstly been paying for something I knew nothing about for over 4 years and the fact that it could not be stopped infuriated me.

I find this whole situation totally immoral, illegal and quite frankly an outrage. The fact I have been paying this for 4 years without even knowing speaks volumes.

Also to my surprise, this is not a one of thing, a lot of people here especially Foreigners like myself and Germans alike, seem to have been scammed or mislead to having these data or additional sim cards, which is disgusting. Your staff in these shops need to take a look at themselves and you as a company should be doing more to educate and train these people to not take advantage of people!

I want this situation to come to an end right now, therefore im asking you to please cancel this contract with immediate effect. After writing to you guys by mail, I received a response stating, basically they could not confirm what may have gone on in the shop, but as I signed for it, pretty much unlucky, get over it. I understand that oral agreements between me and your business shop cannot exactly confirmed.

However, I would ask you to look at this from a logical point of view. If I had known about it, why would I not have terminated it with my previous contract?

I guarantee you that if you look into your system, this sim card data has never been used, and you are also asking me to continue paying for something I don't even have!

I ask you all as a company to look at this situation logically and terminate this contract immediately. I am no longer with you and I do not need this data simulation any more.

I have already paid for this contract for 4 years without ever using it. I do not want to continue paying for something I had no idea about or never used.

I would like to ask you to pass this on to someone with the appropriate authority who can check this again and express the expectation that this will end with immediate effect.

Especially in times of Corona, money is scarce these days, and paying an extra €14.99 for something I do not have access to or do not need is very difficult.

If not i’m in the lucky position of working for FB & Instagram directly, and will not stop on social media until  I have an adequate outcome.

Thank you very much for your understanding in this matter and I hope that we can come to an agreement.

Chris
