Wrong router!!!
You need a MODEM-Router for VDSL. Your router is a WLAN-router without VDSL-Interface and also without phone. You need a router like Fritzbox 7530 (VDSL, WLAN, VoIP phone lines) for o2 DSL.
@pallavi112 I strongly prefer like @Klaus_VoIP for you a Fritzbox 7530 or 7590. Works great, have English system menu, supported by o2 and you can look your line quality.

Thank you for your quick response. Please tell me if only a new router Will help ?
Do I need any further information from O2 to configure the router ?
Or I would be able to connect it myself if I buy a router from Media Markt ?
@pallavi112 You can install a Fritzbox 7530 without any problems by yourself. One Important question. Did you have an email from o2 called „Willkommen bei o2“ In this Email is a pdf the o2 dsl username and password. This you need if you want Setup an internet connection.
The best und fastest solution ist a new router like fritzbox 7530 or 7590.
A used router is also possible, but sometimes a risk and often without guarantee. Look for Black Friday-offers or look for other good offers.
You need user-id/password from your o2 mail. Thats all.
@Klaus_VoIP @Joe Doe
Yes. I have the userid and password which o2 gave me in the mail.
I am about to buy the router but it seems a little out of budget.
Fritzbox 7530 shows just DSL and Fritzbox 7590 shows DSL/VDSL.
Could you please confirm if 7530 will work because it is comparatively cheaper than 7590.
Please reply.
@pallavi112 Fritzbox 7530 is a good router with Super Vectoring VDSL chipset up to 250Mbit.
@pallavi112
The Fritzbox is the perfect router 4 U.
Nearly automatic configuration (usernme+password see john doe).
The 7530 is the best you could get for 110€. And very user friendly.
U could take a 7520 from ebay too, but buy below 70€ (at the moment there is one for 55€). Because it is used an u will get only 2 1000MBit Ethernet ports an you have no warranty. So with above 70€ the different to a 7530 with 4 1000MBit ports and 5 years warranty is to less. Than better pay110€ and get a new one. And if you will leave Germany you will get a good prise for a fritzbox.
I finally bought a Fritzbox 7530 from Media markt and configured it as mentioned in the above link. Everything worked well. I finally have internet connection at my home after a whole long month of frustration and struggle to manage without internet.
I am so glad to have helping hands like @Klaus_VoIP @Joe Doe and @schluej
Thank you so much guys. I am really grateful for your quick responses and to the point comments.
Hello @pallavi112, welcome to our o2 community and thank you for your feedback :-)
I am glad to see you already recieved support and help from our community memebers :-)
Sometimes finding the right router may appear a bit overwhelming since many devices offer a wide array of functions and possibilities. With a Fritzbox 7530 you bought a DSL router that is easy to set up and still offers lots oif functions. It also supports the fast Supervectoring technology with up to 250MBit/s (where available).
If there are any questions left feel free to ask, we will answer as soon as possible :-)
Regards,
Lars
@pallavi112 Did you switch your Fritzbox to English system menu?
