We got a new neighbor in our apartment, which I pay for the internet in. He has Vodaphone from his previous location and is asking me for a document to give to them showing I have internet here and that he cannot install on top of my installation. However I have no idea what to give this man, my contract has my personal information on it and I don’t feel comfortable giving him this. Is there something O2 can provide that I can give him?

Hi @Cryanken

welcome to our English Community.

Thanks for your message.

In general there is no early cancellation-possibility if someone does not like to move his DSL-contract to his new address.

Therefore, your neighbor just needs to cancel his DSL-contract. Of course, he will have to pay the fees until the end of his duration. Normally, the deregistration-notification of his old address and the registration-notification of his new address is sufficient.

But I suggest that he should ask about the procedure at Vodafone.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
