FRITZ!Box 6660 (Cable connection) delivered after activation date and not working


Hi,

I made a new contract for Fritz!Box 6660 Cable to be activated on 18.07.2022. However, the box arrived a few weeks after the activation date (who does this!😫). Even though I got an email that the activation was successful (in the absence of the router😒), after the setup, nothing seems to work (no internet connection). The ‘power on’ light keeps blinking without end. I have called Support several times, both in English and German, yet nothing seems to work. No email address to reach them. What kind of service is this?😌

I’m tempted to terminate the contract, so that I don’t pay for what I didn’t use, unless I get some help from the community. Please help as quickly as possible. Thanks

if ther is no sync than the community can‘t munch.

Do zu have a TV, is yes do you get hundert of TV station”s or only 10?

If you have no TV. How do U connect the FRITZ!Box?

Could U upload a picture?

The only way is the hotline to fix an blinking Power/DSL LED…

If every thing is connected correctly.

If you will get a working line, pleas read this…

The cable port is working fine because I use it to watch cable TV. But using the same cable (wire, delivered with the Fritz!Box) to connect the Fritz!Box, the router keeps blinking. The WLAN makes successful connection to other devices, but without any internet connection.

Do you have a TV socked with 3 connectors?

Yeah, 3 ports. I removed the TV cable from this socket...connected a coaxial cable from the router to the ‘Sat/data’ port (top port in the image)

Thank you, Matze, for reaching out.
However, I had a chat with the Support Center and a ticket was created for sending a technician. The technician arrived, checked the connection and everything is working fine now.

For better service sake, O2 team ought to upgrade their customer service to international standard or better still do a more sustainable and stronger interrelationship with other technical (network) providers (Vodafone, etc).

I have signed a contract for Wlan. I have received the router. Activation was also successful. But the power/ cable blinks continuously. I have called the customer care and they said me to watch video in youtube. I have done everything what they said. But nothing worked. I don’t know what’s wrong. So what should I do now? Please answer me.

That is annoying when your connection and router are set up but that the connection is not doing its work. You can download our o2 my Service App to check your connection with the help of this app. In this app, for which we also have a video on youtube you have the poosible to forward a malfunction report to our technicians. In our article about how to have landline issues fixed you can find more help.
