Your most welcome Ines. I’m always keeping a eye out to contribute to the community.

Recently I made a post for those who are having Wi-Fi Issue's on the 5GHz Band. I found out some interesting facts.

Hi there, I was recently purchasing the router and did the installation / setup and all went smoothly. It has been a week, so far so good. But now when I try to go to the router configuration website and try entering the password (the one that is written underneath the router) it keeps on showing an error message that I should enter the correct password. I am entering it correctly but to no avail. I do not know what is going on really… sort of frustrating. Did anyone have a similar issue_

Hello @NarineS, welcome to our o2 community :-)

If you already finished the initial installation it is possible you have chosen an own password. If you do not remember this password you can set the Homespot back to factory defaults, you also have the possibility to click an “have you forgotten your passwords” to recieve further information :-)

Regards,

Lars

@o2_Lars Hello Lars, many thanks for your response. I think I found the culprit. It was totally my “mistake”. I hadn”t changed any passwords, however what happened is that when I did the setup I was connected to Home Spot, and when I tried to connect to the router configuration website on another occasion, I was connected to another network without noticing it *facepalm :) Now everything is functioning as it should. Thanks again!

Regards,

Narine

Hi @NarineS,

thank you for your feedback. And no problem at all. It's quite normal that you only discover some things later or don't know where the problem is at first.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards
