Dear O2 Team,
I have 24 month DSL contract which will be ending in Feb 2024. But due to my job changes I need to move another city (Berlin) and going to live in sharing apartment and the place i am moving already have Telekom DSL contract on going.
in this case how can i cancel my o2 DSL contract ? Please help

Its in your legal term + customer right to terminate the contract if customer is moving outside of the country or inside the country.
is not the whole truth.
Yes, you can cancel you contract when leaving the country but (important) with a one month notice period.
When moving within the country, the contract must be fulfilled, unless we can’t provide a DSL connection at your new place, then you have the right
to cancel you contract again with a one month notice period.
If my collegaues have agreed to your cancellation letter although DSL is available at you new place it was a gesture of good will.
howsoever at the end of the day your contract will be cancelled as you wished, so everything is fine in from my point of view.

Welcome to our o2 community.
Thank you for your posting. Moving to a shared appartment is not a reason for extraordinary termination, so you can only terminate your contract at the end of the term.
Now you have two Options to get rid off the contract. First: You could ask the new tenant in your old apparment if he would like to take over your DSL contract (in german its AIW - Anschlussinhaberwechsel) or you
place an order to move the DSL contract to your new apparment in Berlin. If its not possible to active the contract at your new address (due to technical reasons) you have the right
for an extraordinary termination.
Alternatively, you can request a cancellation as a gesture of goodwill via letter.

Thank you for reply me. But the information you have shared its Totally wrong and I have no idea why O2 each team member has different saying. 🤔
Its in your legal term + customer right to terminate the contract if customer is moving outside of the country or inside the country. I have submitted all the important docs to O2 online+ via post and spoken O2 Kundigung team 089787979459 and my contract has terminated.
