Thanks for the update. But to be clear this
Its in your legal term + customer right to terminate the contract if customer is moving outside of the country or inside the country.
is not the whole truth.
Yes, you can cancel you contract when leaving the country but (important) with a one month notice period.
When moving within the country, the contract must be fulfilled, unless we can’t provide a DSL connection at your new place, then you have the right
to cancel you contract again with a one month notice period.
If my collegaues have agreed to your cancellation letter although DSL is available at you new place it was a gesture of good will.
howsoever at the end of the day your contract will be cancelled as you wished, so everything is fine in from my point of view.
