Hello, sorry that I am writing in English but I felt my German is still not good enough to explain all the details.

I recently lost my mobile phone (SIM-free with O2 SIM card, O2 o with flat internet) on the D-Bahn and although I have reported the loss, I have given up on getting it back.  I was wondering whether I can block the lost SIM card and then have a new one with the same phone number sent to me?  Any instructions on what I should do would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing what you can do is to block your sim. Dial this number (0176 55 222) and tell them that you want to block your sim.. At the next, go to the next o2 store and ask them for a new sim. they can also activate it for you.

i hope i could help you a litte bit :-)

Thank you very much Masterryu for your reply.

Would it be possible to get a SIM card with the same phone number as the blocked SIM?

Thank you for your help.  I managed to block my lost SIM card and order a replacement.  15 EUR is a bit expensive I thought, but I guess it is my fault I lost my phone in the first place.

Nice to read! Good luck for you!
