I want to transfer my current prepaid mobile number to another service provider. How can I do that? also I wanna know is it will charge additional amount and how much it will be? Will that money return to my account or not? Please I need a clear explanation of this.

How can I request it? When I logged into my o2 account it doesn’t display an option to “ transfer your number to another service provider” likewise?

As Bumer already described with the article sent you will have to set a so called opt-in to your prepaid number. Then the new provider can go and get it. If there is any amount left on your prepaid card please check: https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung
