@oswaldoham Yes, Postident can take some time, as the post will noiw send your data to us and then we can activate your SIM card.

In the form I see “o2 Mobile Postpaid”, which is the right choice. As soon as your card is activated and the preliminary number shown to you, you cann issue the form.

Best Regards,

Gerrit

Hello @oswaldoham ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

If you have a prepaid card or other contract, then you can of course export the number from your currently used contract over to that one.

Kind regards, Sven

Hello Sven,

My tariff contract (O2 Grow) is ending on August 31 2024, do I have to order a new sim? Or do I have to inform customer service that I want to keep my number? It was my understanding that when my tariff contract ends, my number is also deleted.

You need a new contract or a prepaid SIM, either with o2 or with another provider, to be able to transfer and keep your number. Otherwise yes, your number will be deleted after 90 days.

Hello @oswaldoham ,

when your contract ends the number is still reserved for you for 90 days, during that time you can transfer it to another contract or provider. Of course you need an active contract/prepaid card that you can transfer it to.

Kind regards, Sven

Hello @oswaldoham,

as soon as you have activated your prepaid SIM card and it has a new number, you can then send the formular.

If you want to have your new number transferred before the 31st August, you can set the number free via your online Mein o2 customer account.

Best Regards,

Gerrit

Hello,

So I got my sim, and I went to perform the identity check today to a postfiliale, but I have not received any text or email after the identity confirmation. Does it take sometime?

Hello @oswaldoham,

even if you haven't replied so far, I wanted to ask you about the current status! Did everything work out with the number portability?

If we can still support you or if questions arise - please contact us again here 🤗
