How do I change from Ortel to O2?

Hello! I’ve purchased an Ortel prepaid sim card at the Munich airport and would like to change the operator to O2. I also need to save current telephone number because it’s already used for bank notifications. I don’t understand how to do the change exactly. Can you please provide me some info or a tutorial for this issue?

Ortel Mobile writes the following about transferring a prepaid phone number:

Inform our customer service either

  • by phone on 0177 177 1138 (The price for a mobile call to the Telefonica Deutschland network as stated by the respective provider applies). Important! Please have your Hotline PIN or PUK1 ready for legitimation.

or

  • send us the form "Transferring your number to another provider" with your personal customer number or a copy of your identity document. 

You can find the form under the following link: https://www.ortelmobile.de/fileadmin/data/ortel/Kuendigung_und__Rufnummernmitnahme_012023.pdf

By the way, Ortel Mobile, like o2, belongs to Telefónica Deutschland.
