I have not lived in Germany for over 1 year. I have not used o2 service for over 1 year. I closed my account with o2 last September. I have a confirmation email from o2 that my account was closed. I paid the contract cancellation amount when the contract was closed. Then I even paid an extra 20 euros a few months after my account was closed because I kept getting a bill for the basic charge, which I don’t owe. Yet I am still getting bills every month, each for an additional 4 euros. I am not using o2 service. I am being charged money while no service is being provided to me.

It seems that there was a technical problem with your direct debiting. Usually we stop it after the contract is cancelled. But this time it didn’t work properly. So we charged you the returned direct debit fee in the following invoice after terminating the mobile phone number but it didn’t succeed. So we had a loop of debiting and its return it continued as long as a certain limit was reached. It took a year until we have come to this point. By now we have got a final amount which I credited immediately. Your account is balanced now.
