Hi there.

 

Recently I’ve applied for o2 home cable connection. Now I have some problems and I would like you to help me.

  1. You’ve sent me a package, including the wall connector and the cable. The problem is that such connector is not compatible with my data outlet, see pics below. How can I connect my equipment?

 

  1. Once registered, the o2 web site asked we for MAC address of my device. I mistakenly entered the MAC address of my wi-fi router instead of the modem address. how can i fix it?
  1. The technician's visit is scheduled for October 22nd, but I will be on a business trip until noon on October 25th. How can the technician visit time be shifted?

ps When communicating with AURA in the whatsapp, it is written that if you enter an “Mitarbeiter”, the chat will switch to a live person, in practice, in 10 cases out of 10, the site gives an error. Why is the quality of care so low?

1 The adapter sent to you is intended for cable TV sockets that are not yet equipped with a "DATA" socket. Since your cable TV socket is already equipped with a DATA socket, the adapter is not needed in your case.

2 To correct the MAC address you entered incorrectly, you must contact o2 customer service by phone. Please note that a DOCSIS 3.1 compatible modem/modem router such as the AVM Fritzbox 6660 cable is required for o2 my Home cable/DOCSIS connections. Rental devices from other providers cannot be used. 

3 The personal presence of the customer is not necessary for the technician appointment. Another person can also grant the technician access to the flat and cable TV distribution. Please note that the technician does not have keys to locked rooms in your house and the customer must ensure accessibility at the technician appointment.
If no one you trust can attend the appointment, you can ask o2 Customer Care to reschedule the appointment for a later day.
