I have my own Fritzbox 7520 and tomorrow the technician is coming. How do I know if my router works with O2? I’m trying to call O2 but it says my number isn’t recognized while I have a Dutch number and other communication ways aren’t working as well ;(.

You will find all the necessary access data for setting up your telephone and router connection after the DSL line has been activated
in the online customer center "My o2" at www.o2.de/mein-o2 Please select the menu item "Manage contract" in the "Tariffs & Options"
area to get to the telephony access data for your router. "
Otherwise you will find the data to set up the fritzbox in the order confirmation we send you via letter and mail

The general procedure is: Compare the specifications of your DSL router with the Telefónica interface description.
In the case of the Fritzbox 7520, it can be said that the device should work on all German VDSL connections. Please note that German telephone connections have a TAE type socket and you therefore need a suitable DSL cable with a TAE plug to connect the Fritzbox. The Fritzboxes sold in Germany come with a corresponding cable. The scope of delivery may differ for devices purchased abroad.
On the o2 hotline you apparently didn't listen properly: To identify the DSL connection in question, you will be asked for the fixed network number belonging to the o2 DSL connection. However, since your o2 DSL connection is not yet active, you cannot enter its phone number.
