How does the payment for my bills happen?

Hi, I just subscribed to O2 myHome M - LTE/5G package and I was wondering how the payment for the bill can be made. I was wondering if SEPA Direct Debit is automatically activated once I input my IBAN for my bank account. And when does the monthly bill usually come? 

 

I tried registering to Mein O2 app but it requires a mobile phone number with a SMS code activation. Do i need to put the sim card into my phone to go through the registration?

If you applied for direct debiting we will withdraw the monthly basic charge within seven days notice after the invoice is released. 

Usually the billing cycle starts with your contract activation and it takes a month until the first invoice is set up.

So your fees are charged retroactively.

If you like to sign in for your contract details please log out of your community account and put the SIM card into a telephone for the incoming text message or go to the settings of your router. There is an option where you find the message as well.
