Please pardon me, I can't write write German. I am having a problem with my Fritzbox 7530. After getting the router, a technician from O2 came and connected it in a box in the Keller of our apartment. Later that day, we connected our phone but it didn't work, connected without internet. We didn't know what to do and we couldn't reach O2, we stayed for 3 months now without internet. We spoked with O2 on Monday and they said we have to visit the site to configure the router. So I tried it, but because it was too late, I slept and decided to continue the next day. But since on Tuesday, I can no longer find FRITZBOX 7530 on my Phone wifi, I have searched, and even save it manually on my mobile phone but it did not appear. I thought it was the DSL cable, so I bought another cable but the problem is still the same. I can't get through with O2 now. Please I need help .

If the Wi-Fi of the Fritzbox does not appear on your device, it is probably simply switched off. See the Wi-Fi indicator light. I don't understand what the DSL cable has to do with the Wi-Fi network. I suggest you read the manual for your router.
The power led and Wlan led is on but I can't find my FRITZ! BOX 7530 on my WIFI searching.
The power LED sometimes is not stable. It comes on then later starts blinking.
You can connect a device via LAN cable with the fritzbox. In doing so, operating errors with regard to the Wi-Fi can be reliably eliminated.

I can't see the name of the router 'Fritzbox 7530 on my mobile phone not to talk of putting the password. I saw it last on Monday but since then after trying to configure it but I couldn't complete it because I went to bed. I woke up the next day, it could no longer appear when searching for wifi.
With “device” I meant a PC or notebook, not a TV set.
Since you did not configure the fritzbox, the fritzbox has no internet connection and any device connected the fritzbox can’t use the internet. This is the normal expected condition. If you do not configure your Fritzbox, this will not change. The configuration of your Fritzbox is your task and not that of o2.
Did you buy the Fritzbox 7530 second hand? If so, the Wi-Fi name may not match the factory data on the type label and a factory reset is necessary.

@balblup I got the router directly from O2 shop, it's new. My question again is, will I be able to solve the problem if I use a laptop? Because to configure it, I have to be connected to the Fritzbox but I can't see the Fritzbox SSID for me to be able to enter the password, then to configure it.
@Sandrachrist The Fritzbox SSID must been visible with a complete new Fritzbox. Ok. In the Fritzbox Menu a can disable the SSID. I strongly recommend to get a notebook with LAN Port. By the way. You have your o2 username and password?

This is strange, because o2 and o2 shops owned by o2 do not sell routers. If you encounter problems with this device I recommend to contact the shop were you bought the fritzbox 7530.
Remember: I asked you to connect the laptop by a Ethernet cable: one side of the cable into LAN-Port of the laptop and the other side of the Ethernet cable into the LAN port of the fritzbox. Doing so, you do not use any Wi-Fi. I think it should be clear that a wireless network is not required for a cable connection, isn't it?
@Sandrachrist Have you some news for us? Are you access to you Fritzbox over LAN or WiFi?

I don't have a laptop, I just have this hp Chromebook, it does not have a LAN port. I'm in a process of getting a laptop, I will get back to you after trying it.

@Sandrachrist Did you have a landline phone that you can connect directly over cable to the Fritzbox (TAE Port)? With this phone you can reset the Fritzbox.
@Sandrachrist And have you press for testing the WiFi button on the Fritzbox? Turn off WiFi and than turn on again? Did you now see your WiFi Network?
I don't have a landline, I've tried switching the Fritzbox WLAN on and off for many times. The WiFi network is not showing.

your router may be defective. I also recommend complaining about this to the dealer. Since this is not a device that we sell, we cannot arrange for repairs or replacements here.

I'm happy to let you know that my internet problem has been solved. I couldn't get another laptop from my neighbors, a technician from Vodafone came to the house connected his laptop and my Fritzbox with a network cable and fixed it within 10 minutes.
