Need PUK code


Hi,

My wife and I purchased prepaid sims in Munich to use while travelling Europe. Unfortunately my wife switched off her phone, now it is asking for a pin code but we do not know it.

we tried calling O2 Germany but they do not offer customer service in English and told us to visit an O2 shop. We cannot do this as we are in Italy now.

could you please tell us how we can unlock this SIM?

The SIM card was in a carrier when you received it.
On this carrier are PIN and PUK.

Did you register for "my o2" (customer portal) after receiving the SIM?

If so, can be found there under "Tariff & SIM card" and then "Manage SIM card" and the PIN and PUK.

No we did not register on Myo2. That is why we need O2 to provide the pin or oil.

We now cannot register because the sim the sim is locked.

Okay, then you either call tomorrow via the prepaid hotline (no English support guaranteed) or wait here for a moderator (can take 24-48 hours).

Ok thanks you. Hopefully a moderator replies soon. Last time I called the hotline but they would not provide support in English.

I called the prepaid line.

“Good morning, are you able to offer support in English?”
”Nein.” *hangs up*

Moderators?

Could someone from o2 please get in contact with me. I am unable to use my phone until I can get my PUK code from o2.

At the moment I only have access to the number xxx295. Is that the number you need the PIN from?

We are not allowed to use personal data posted in this public forum. I'll write a private message to you from o2_Support. There you can give me the phonenumber of your wife an the personal four-digit identification code to that account.
