Switching from LTE to DSL/Kabel

Dear community members,

I have to move to another address. I have a 1-month flexible O2 LTE home internet tariff.

I thought that it would not be a problem to take my LTE connection with me to a new address, but I just checked and there is “no service” there for LTE O2 Home internet. According to network plan, the new address has only 4G and the old one also had 4G max.

What should I do? Switch to DSL? Can I try my existing LTE O2 Home at the new address? I really don’t understand why there is no LTE service there.

Hi @GDem

Via my o2 there is no option to change the address for the o2 Homespot tariff, only change you can do is the overall contract address.

Only customer service can change the address for the Homespot plan.

Quick question: Have you tried to use the Homespot at your new address? Sometimes you can connect to the internet without changing anything.

Best regards

Moin,

you have to announce the address change to O2. The Homespot is fixt to one adress.

If o2 is unable to deliver they end the contract.

And with a flex contract U have one month to end the contract.

U could do it with https://info.o2online.de/kuendigung/

DSL is normally better then a broadcast connection. But do a flex contract again, if not U have a to stay 24 Month.

@GDem Only with (V)DSL you get at o2 a full dualstack (IPv4 / IPv6).

@schluej thank you very much, I was just able to login to my O2, but I can’t find where can I announce the change of the address for O2 Homespot. Do you have an idea where it could be? I googled but still could not find...
