Good morning, I have a Home M contract and it was working fine until around a month ago. I live near Gleisdreieck U-Bahn Station, there is a park and in Sommer, when a lot of people chilling outside, I had a bad speed. Which I understand, but recently it become horrible, there are less people in area, and internet speed still 1-2 Mbps, sometimes less. I thought that there are some maintenance work at first, because the drop was significant. Can you please help me figure out what’s going on?

I'm sorry that you're currently having such problems with your mobile phone contract, of course that shouldn't be the case.
Have you already checked your address for faults using our LiveCheck? If there is a known error, it is listed in LiveCheck, if not, you can create an error message yourself via LiveCheck, which will then be checked by our colleagues in the technical department.

Hey, thanks for checking in! I ended up leaving messages in live check almost every day and searching for a proper landline :) The internet speed is just enough for online meetings in the morning, but awful after 15:00 for whatever reason and it is very frustrating. 
I’m still curious what happened during Summer, because last year and until May this year, everything was great. Probably more new clients and increased load on a nearby cell tower…

indeed it can affect internet via Homespot when our network is experiencing overload. 

If you like you could give us a street next to yours - just not your address for data security reasons - that we can have a look as well.

Do you have a 5G or LTE router?

I have an LTE 4G+ router, you can check the area between Flottwellstr., Pohlstr. and Lützowstr.

thank you very much, I could check the area and continued and could check your current contact address.

While our LTE 4G network is without reported disturbances and stable in you area, it is not sufficient to support LTE 4G via a Homespot/LTE router at your address.

Would you recommend 5G in my case? 5G routers are expensive, but if it will provide faster and reliable connection - I would consider it


@olorium Our 5G net at the area around the Flottwellstr is still restricted within buldings also for SIM cards in Smartphones, as our network map shows: 

Because of that our Homespot Tarife are neither for LTE nor 5G available for your address. When checking your contracts, a different address is filed, did you move yor address since beginning your Homespot contract?

Thanks for the update! Yes, I moved a year ago, but connection was fine until last summer in the new apartment. I think we can clothe this thread then, thank you so much for trying to help

at your current address we cannot provide the Homespot, as our network there is not suited for Homespots. 

Otherwise a move of your address would have been a solution. If you want to, you can apply for early termination of your contract, via our cancellation form
