You can cancel the prepaid card and get a refund with this form (https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung/)

OR

Register with the mobile phone number in Mein o2 and request the porting of the prepaid phone number to your postpaid contract there.

Postpaid and prepaid cards cannot be managed together in Mein o2.

Refund or partial refund is not possible.

Refund is only possible, if you cancel your o2 prepaid card or if you move the phone number from your prepaid card to your postpaid contract (the credit will move to your postpaid contract too)

Note: After that, your prepaid sim will be deactivated.

You can cancel an online order within 14 days. You have probably exceeded the deadline because you started this thread 16 days ago. Is my assumption correct?

If you signed the contract directly with o2:
A mobile phone contract can be terminated at the end of the term. This can be one month (flex contract), 12 or 24 months. Not earlier.

However, you can end the contract for the smartphone (o2 my Handy) early, pay the remaining installments at once, then sell the phone and buy another one..

Good evening,

nice to read this conversation here!
Thank you @Aubiang for your question and especially thank you @tearsbeforecrying for the support 💙

As I have read, some questions have already been clarified. Your original question, for example, has already been solved.
Now to your final question: as @tearsbeforecrying has already described, you have concluded a corresponding contract with certain conditions with o2. These contractual agreements can only be terminated after certain periods of time (as contractually agreed).

This also includes your data volume. There would only be a possibility to downgrade your contract to a smaller contract after a certain period of time. However, this may cost fees and would also mean that you would no longer be able to take advantage of any discounts.
Maybe you can still use your tariff to your satisfaction? If your Wi-Fi fails at home or elsewhere, you can also use your contract as a hotspot to connect other devices to the internet. Or maybe you do use mobile data on the road from time to time?

Kind regards
Jessica 🌷
