I regret that you have some problems with incoming SMS from other countries.
In order to find out the reason for that, can you tell me which kind of sim-card you have? Is it postpaid or prepaid?
Which kind of phone do you use?
As you receive SMS from Germany, there seems not to be a problem with receiving SMS in general.
Can you ask the persons who sent you SMS if they used a certain App for it?

Already tested. No sms from any international number. I can receive international calls though.

I have just checked, a block on SMS is not apparent anywhere. From our network side, everything should be fine.
So let's try again to narrow down the problem:
Have you by any chance completely shut down your device in between and restarted it again? Even after a restart, no text messages arrived?
Were you able to test your SIM card in another device?

I did try shutting down my phone for a while but it didn’t work after either.
I haven’t tried this sim on another device but I used to receive international sms before arriving in Germany. That is before I bought the O2 sim.

I bought my o2 sim last month(dec 2023). The problem I am facing is I can’t receive any sms
Also to be noted that, I can receive calls . But because of the no sms, I’m having difficulties with certain things. Kindly help as soon as possible as it is urgent.

When and where did you purchase the sim card?
When did you activate it?
Is this a prepaid card or a contract card?
Does the sim card have network reception? Have you ever completely restarted the phone?
Please test the sim card in another cell phone to find out if the problem is with the cell phone.

I’m having the same issue as Afnan, I don’t seem to get sms from outside Germany to be specific from Spain but I receive messages from my colleagues in Germany. Please assist with this problem.
