@Hi40 There are several apps to check the conditions.

First to know in mobile network contracts you have have an “up to” transfer und download rate not a guaranteed DL/UL-Rate this very important to know, other situation with fixed line DSL contracts.

You can use the O2 app on your cell phone under “Netz&Speed” you can check if there is a known issue unnder Speedtest you can do a speedtest as you have done in the other app shown above in your OP. Then you can open an incident if you think the transfer rate is not o.K.

Then the technik will do a first check. The answer will be 99,9% Everything o.K. we don’t encounter any issue.

Don’t be embarrased there arte also reason like network overload at a certain timestamp. If the problem remains day & night at the same level you have probably receiving problems due to the circumstances at your receiving position.

If you don’t have an iphone (apple does not grant access to the needed APIs) you can use cellmapper, to see what stations are used, and on a PC you can also see details to the certain stations where they send.

I would also propose to change positions a little bit to see if you have the same bad receiving, in my experience changing position even 20m can change the results dramatically, from “what the hell” to “i can live with that” and 100m away “Yeah”. Don’t expect to have 300 Mbs, but a stable value above 50 Mbit is good to live with it. 2 m away from my front door i have 5 Mbit going 10m towards the street it goes up to to around 15, walking down the street app. 100m i have above 100. Look in the O2-Netcoverage at your detailed position (doubleclicking on the position) and you get a sub window showing the position and what O2 claims in quality “Sehr gut” “gut” “eingeschrĂ€nkt” “nicht versorgt” for outdoor and indoor. If the claim above “eingeschrĂ€nkt” it is an issue, you have to claim.
